Music Opportunities at Geneva

The Music Ministry of Geneva Presbyterian Church, under the direction of Fred Kunkel, Director of Music and Arts, is a multifaceted program designed to meet the musical and spiritual needs of the congregation.  There are many opportunities within the Music Ministry for all to be involved. Volunteers are always welcome!   For more information on any of the following opportunities, please call the Fred at (904) 652-6503.

Chancel Choir – sings at the 10:30 am Service on Sunday mornings. Rehearsals are weekly on Tuesday at 7:00 pm. The choir is open to all who love to sing, no audition is required.  It is helpful if you can read music (but not necessary) and very helpful if you can carry a tune!

Hand Bell Choir – provides special music on an “as needed” basis.  Prior experience with hand bells and the ability to read music is not required, but helpful.  Rehearsals led by Carol Calvert, are weekly on Tuesday at 6:00 pm.

Liturgical Dance – interprets the gospel message in the context of worship. This is open from age 6 to adult.  Led by Penny Knox,  gather on Sundays following worship at the church.  There is no charge to participate.  For more information, please contact Penny at (904) 230-2328.
