Children's ProgramsMore than just Sunday School!
Children are important at Geneva!
We have a desire for our every kid to know some essential truths that will stick with them for life.
What every child should know when they start Kindergarten:
– God made me, everyone and everything.
– God loves me and wants me to share with others.
– Jesus wants to be my friend forever.
What every child should know when they start middle school:
- The story of the Bible is that God loves me no matter what.
- Jesus is trustworthy, so I can trust God.
- God celebrates when I make wise choices.
- The best way to live is treat others the way I want to be treated.
- God forgives my sins. Jesus died on the cross to take my sins away. I should forgive others.
We help children discover those in each of the opportunities described below:
Sunday School For Pre-Kindergarten through high school every Sunday from 9 – 10 am in the Fellowship Hall.
Wednesdays – KIDS KLUB is open to all children thru 5th grade. During the school year we meet each Wednesday evening from 7 – 8 pm in the Fellowship Hall. New activities are planned each month. Past years we did Trunk or Treat, a scavenger hunt for families in need is scheduled at Thanksgiving, participated in the Angel Tree, a special treat is planned for Advent Wednesday, and our annual Talent Show. To be part of this exciting group contact contact Teri Batchelor in the church office at 287-4865 or email email@example.com. Come and bring a friend!
The PreSchool – Every day, Monday thru Friday, we have a program running! We serve 2 and 3 year olds and will be starting up a 4 year old Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) program in the Fall. A wonderfully warm and safe environment, with terrific, experienced teachers, where children learn through play. Please call Director, Vallis Henley to set up your tour.

Mom's Morning Out Leader
Hello I am Carri and I am excited to be joining the Geneva Presbyterian Preschool!! I will be working with the two year olds. This will be my fourth year teaching. My journey to teaching started by becoming a substitute teacher in 2015. I have previously worked in other MMO and Mom2Mom programs. I look forward to meeting your children and cannot wait to help them learn and grow. I also love to do lots of crafts and hands on activities.

Here are our VBS themes for the last 19 years… though we can go back 30 years, if you like! It’s a strong and deeply loved tradition at Geneva Presbyterian Church.
Usually, we have between 50 – 95 children participating and roughly 70 volunteers from our congregation which include youth and adult leaders to keep us all on track! It is a joyful week for all.
